Our last sketchbook club of the year!
Month Seven: Thursday 26th November
DRAWING NEGATIVE SPACE
Hannah from HH Studio will lead this month's Sketchbook Club, using Christmas decorations as the subject for an exploration of drawing negative space.
Sketchbooks are the perfect place to play with ideas, experiment with different approaches and explore drawing and image-making in a relaxed, creative environment.
No experience needed. No pressure to create a “perfect” picture. This is a chance to slow down, experiment and enjoy the process of making — with no need for previous experience or artistic confidence.
Important: A selection of simple drawing materials will be provided for you to use on the night but you are welcome to bring your own along too. Sketchbooks themselves are not included in the workshop price so please make sure to bring your own sketchbook along!
A hot drink from the Thrive coffee shop is included in your ticket, and there will be cake available to purchase on the night if you wish.
