Learn how to make a beautiful A5 French Stitched, Lay Flat notebook with Pat Walker of Aspen Press.
Aspen Press is a Letterpress and book binding studio based in Orford. Pat has been a Letterpress printer for many years and very soon after she started realised that bookbinding is a natural partner to printing.
On the course, which is suitable for all levels, you will learn how to fold signatures, then stitch them together into a 120 page notebook with exposed stitching on the spine. The result is a unique book just for you, the exposed stitching creates an interesting and beautiful finish. With the lay flat opening perfect for use as a journal or sketchbook.
The course runs for 2-2.5 hours and all materials and tools will be provided.
